I was lucky enough to meet the owner of a games and gifts company, Bubblegum Stuff at the New Designers Exhibition in London. Interested in my illustration style from my 'Laugh Out Loud' project which I was exhibiting, they offered me an internship with the opportunity to turn one of my university projects into a product for the UK games market. It was super exciting and I was given the chance to come up with the content of the game with a copywriter and a fellow designer as well as having input, working on the packaging design and the method of the game and creating illustrations for each fo the playing cards.
This product is aimed at all ages and can be played be anyone and everyone. With the aim of the game to find out who in the group is the biggest, moaning Brit while reading out very, typically British scenarios, which most of us can relate to, let's be honest!
If you've been to the hairdressers and received an awful haircut but still told your stylist you love it then you might be a winner at the Great British Moan Off, the British etiquette-based game that tests players on the absurdity of social behaviour in the UK.
